Behavior based on identity
One thing is the interface that everyone sees, and another is how the platform behaves depending on the identity with which one participates. This point explains precisely that difference: the experience is not the same for a player, an organization or an administration, even if they share the same base.
Now: personal and operational re-engagement
Now is a dynamic entry that answers the question “what requires my attention right now?” It is not a fixed section, a catalog or a generic event filter. It is built with the activity of the active profile and only appears when there is a clear operational destination.
It is contextual
Switching from player to club or administrator can completely change the cards displayed, because each identity participates, organizes or manages different objects.
It is selective
Prioritize tables, matches, tournaments, sessions and pending notices. It does not try to repeat all the menus or show the complete history.
It is actionable
Each card leads to the most internal and useful point available: a table, the matches of the current round, the details of an event or pending notifications.
When it appears and where it is located
- Appears before the entities menu on desktop and mobile when the active profile has operational items.
- Selecting it takes you to
/home#dom-home-now, to the Now block of the home page. - If there is no clear action, you should not compete with Tournaments, Sessions, Circuits, Matches or other main entities.
- The summary is updated reactively to reflect changes in matches, events and notifications without relying solely on the first render.
What can be displayed and in what order
Tables or matches
My Table for a competitor with an active table, or My Matches in Progress for administration and organization when there are active matches in the last open event.
Tournaments
My Tournaments in Progress leads to the personal details, the matches of the current round, the list of rounds or a list with a counter when there are several destinations.
Sessions
My Sessions in Progress opens a specific session when there is only one relevant one or the filtered list when there are several.
Notices
My Pending Notifications gathers unread notices, including friend requests and other actionable social tasks.
Now for an administrator profile
The Figure Navigation 1 shows that Now is not a single listing: each card has its own destination, text, category and counter.
Entities, stages and relationship with the profile
Menu by entities
The main navigation remains stable: Tournaments, Sessions, Circuits, Matches, rankings, Profiles and Posts. The user first chooses which object they want to query.
Global stages
In Tournaments and Sessions, quick filters show In Progress, Upcoming, and Completed. They should not silently limit the set to “my” events.
Explicit relationship
Participated, Organized, or Managed live in the advanced panel under Relationship to my profile. This is how the global stage is distinguished from personal belonging.
Profile and account
The profile defines identity, permissions, and operational context. The account retains security and personal preferences. Changing profiles does not break the session, but it does recalculate Now.
